For 12 years I was dealing with issues with my lower back with a physically arduous job in Heating and Air Conditioning, and with a football and power lifting background, it may have been expected. The issues were eventually linked to disc degeneration in my L4, L5, S1 vertebrae. For the last 2.5 years I had consistent 8 out of 10 pain in my left leg that put me in positions of not doing work consistently, not doing fun things with my kids, and I even felt like I needed to stop doing anything extra, even any ministry trips. Pain was my constant companion asleep or awake 8-10 on the regular. I have done plenty of PT and treatments including steroidal injections with no real improvement in my condition in the last decade.
I have had lots of people pray for me over the years, a lot in the last 2 and a half for sure. There was never really any improvement in my condition I could feel.
At the 3SI Conference there was a word of knowledge about healing for someone with left leg pain and left shoulder issues (I suffered a level 2 shoulder separation 8 years ago which never totally healed great so I had mobility and pain issues there too). I knew that was a word for me.
Bishop Jones invited a group of young adults from Cologne Germany up to pray for me. When they prayed I physically felt my spine gain space and lengthen, and gain strength and stability. I felt my pelvis shift and change positions out of being stuck. I experience what I can only describe as the feeling of scar tissue dissolving in my shoulder to allow my clavicle to settle and shoulder to come to its normal position.
The pain left my leg and I collapsed kneeling on the floor laughing…I realized I could not be in that position with out immense pain and cramping before. It was truly a miracle.
I have gained mobility in my hips, legs, and back I have not seen in years, and have mobility and strength back in my shoulder I have not had in years.
My Therapist said She had never seen such a massive jump in improvement, and that it was almost impossible with where I was, I was able to improve so much.
It was a miracle.
