Brothers and sisters, the Lord is our refuge and our fortress in whom we trust. Therefore, let us bring our needs and the needs of the whole world before the God Who protects and sustains us.
That our Patriarch may have the wisdom, favor and anointing of the Holy Spirit, as he leads those whom God has given him.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
That nations may welcome and have compassion for strangers and refugees who have been persecuted for their faith or ravaged by war.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
That we may not be ashamed of the Gospel, but boldly live it out and proclaim it in our daily lives.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
That our hearts may lead us to action as we hear the cries of the poor, the widow, the lonely and the imprisoned.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
That married couples who are experiencing difficulty in their relationship may be reconciled to one another.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
That there may be racial reconciliation in the church and in our land.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For our own special intentions. (Pause)
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
Almighty God, You are gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in steadfast love. Hear our prayer and give us the grace to walk in Your ways. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
