Brothers and sisters, with the same attitude as the Canaanite woman, let us approach the Lord with persistent faith and ask Him to grant us our petitions.
That we as God’s people may love one another as Jesus has loved us and so prove to be His disciples.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That the Church everywhere may be a household of prayer for all people.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That future generations will hear and answer the call of God to the Priesthood, the Deaconate, and other Christian ministries.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That nations may rule their people with righteousness and justice, especially in the case of the poor and the defenseless.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That those who defend us at home and abroad may experience the grace and protection of God.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That every life may be seen as a gift from God and protected from conception to natural death.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That the Jewish nation may recognize Jesus as the promised One spoken of by Moses.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
Father of Mercy, it is Your good pleasure to bless us with every good gift. In Your generosity, hear our prayer and increase our faith, through Christ our Lord.
