Brothers and sisters, God has adopted us as His children and has called us each by name. Therefore, let us bring our requests confidently before our Father.
For the Church: that She may be united in truth, live together in love and reveal God’s glory to a lost and dying World.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For the conversion of nations that continue to oppress their people, persecute God’s Church and restrict the furthering of the Gospel.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For a heart to desire the possession of the Holy Spirit rather than the possessions of this world.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For all who are employed: that they may carry out their work with integrity and share their proceeds with those in need.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For our cities: that peace, justice, and hope will replace violence, poverty and despair.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For ears to hear and eyes to see and a heart to respond to what the Holy Spirit is doing in our lives.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For caretakers of the sick: that God’s mercy and compassion may be their motivation.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
God Most High, there is no one as holy as You. Hear our prayer and give us the grace to walk in holiness before You. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
