Brothers and sisters, we are no longer slaves to sin but bond servants of Christ Jesus. Therefore, let us go confidently to the Father with our requests.
That the Church, through Her expressions of love, may reveal the love of God to a lost and dying world.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That a spirit of wisdom, charity and justice may permeate all levels of government.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That we may take seriously the call to evangelize and make disciples.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That those who are fearful, hopeless, or suicidal may find their peace and purpose for living in Christ Jesus.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That our schools may reinforce in our children that which is taught at home and in Church.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That we may embrace the yoke of Jesus and bear one another’s burdens.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.

Gracious Father, You have delivered us from the law of sin and death. Hear our prayer and give us the grace to be a grateful people. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
