Brothers and sisters, eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it entered into our hearts all that God has in store for those who love Him. Therefore, let us go expectantly to Him for all our needs.
For the Church: that She may demonstrate in both word and deed the love and forgiveness of God.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For missions and Third World Churches: that they may receive the necessary resources to further God’s Kingdom and meet the needs of their people.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For governments: that they may enact laws that are righteous and just, especially toward the poor and the powerless.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For those considering suicide or murder: that they may choose life.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For our cities: that peace and prosperity will replace violence and poverty.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For single mothers: that they may be spared a life of poverty and have their needs provided for by God’s people.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
For the conversion of nations that persecute God’s people and oppose the furthering of the Gospel.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
Gracious Father, You have redeemed us and called us to be a Holy people. Hear our prayer and give us the grace to be obedient to the leading of Your Holy Spirit. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
