Seventh Sunday of Easter
Brothers and sisters, Jesus is now at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. Therefore, let us bring the needs of the whole world before His Throne.
That the Church may be faithful in proclaiming that there is now peace with God through the Life, Death, Resurrection and Ascension of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That the Church may welcome the movement of the Holy Spirit in her midst by operating in His Gifts and glorifying God the Father.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That those who serve society politically and judicially may administer justice and mercy, especially to the poor and the defenseless.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That our eyes may be opened, our understanding enlightened and our hearts softened that we may comprehend the Scriptures and do what they say.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That parents may receive the grace and wisdom to instruct their children in the ways of the Lord and be living examples for them.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That the poor, the sick and the dying may be cared for in their time of need.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That we may be faithful witnesses of Christ, making the most of every opportunity.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
Almighty God, You are faithful in all of Your ways. Hear our prayer and give us the grace to glorify You in all that we do. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
