Easter Sunday: The Feast of the Resurrection
Brothers and sisters, by His Resurrection, Christ has conquered all that stands between us and the Father. Therefore, we can approach God with great confidence for our needs and those of the whole world.
That the Church may boldly proclaim that mankind now has peace with God through Christ our Lord.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That a deeper unity among all Christians may be fostered as we proclaim together the Resurrection of Jesus.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That the Risen Christ may lead, guide, and protect all who serve in public office.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That those who have been washed by the waters of Baptism and empowered by the Holy Spirit in Confirmation may reflect the love of Christ in word and deed.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That Jesus, Who conquered death, may give us the grace to cultivate a Culture of Life.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That we, who are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, may set our minds on the things above and not on the things of this world.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
That those who have lost loved ones will be comforted by the Resurrected Christ.
Lord in Your mercy,
Hear our prayer.
Father in heaven, thank you for sending Jesus, Who alone conquered death and destroyed the works of the devil, hear our prayer and give us the grace to be ever faithful to Him Who is Lord forever more.
