Sixth Sunday after Epiphany
Brothers and sisters, with faith, hope and confidence, let us bring our needs and those of the whole world before our God and Father.
For our Patriarch and all Clergy: that they may walk in humility, patience and integrity as they labor to equip God’s people for the work of His Kingdom.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For nations at enmity with one another: that they may make every effort to set aside their differences and strive for lasting peace.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For communities suffering the effects of disease or natural disasters: that they may be generously assisted by others.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For our cities: that violence, addiction and hopelessness may be replaced with peace, prosperity and revival.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For those who are near death: that they may find comfort through the promises of Christ and the compassion of His people.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For the conversion of Islam and other world religions and philosophies that are in opposition to the Word of God.
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
For our own special intentions. (Pause)
Lord in Your mercy, Hear our prayer.
God, You have told us that it has not entered into the heart of man all that You have in store for those who love You. Hear our prayer and give us the grace to be a thankful people. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
