Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Phillipians 1:2

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 80

⁽¹⁾ Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth! ⁽²⁾ Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, Stir up Your strength, And come and save us! ⁽³⁾ Restore us, O God; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved! ⁽⁴⁾ O LORD God of hosts, How long will You be angry Against the prayer of Your people?

Numbers Chapter 9

⁽¹⁵⁾ Now on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire. ⁽¹⁶⁾ So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. ⁽¹⁷⁾ Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, after that the children of Israel would journey; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents. ⁽¹⁸⁾ At the command of the LORD the children of Israel would journey, and at the command of the LORD they would camp; as long as the cloud stayed above the tabernacle they remained encamped.

⁽¹⁹⁾ Even when the cloud continued long, many days above the tabernacle, the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and did not journey. ⁽²⁰⁾ So it was, when the cloud was above the tabernacle a few days: according to the command of the LORD they would remain encamped, and according to the command of the LORD they would journey. ⁽²¹⁾ So it was, when the cloud remained only from evening until morning: when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they would journey; whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud was taken up, they would journey. ⁽²²⁾ Whether it was two days, a month, or a year that the cloud remained above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would remain encamped and not journey; but when it was taken up, they would journey.

⁽²³⁾ At the command of the LORD they remained encamped, and at the command of the LORD they journeyed; they kept the charge of the LORD, at the command of the LORD by the hand of Moses. ⁽²⁹⁾ Now Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, 'We are setting out for the place of which the LORD said, 'I will give it to you.' Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the LORD has promised good things to Israel.' ⁽³⁰⁾ And he said to him, 'I will not go, but I will depart to my own land and to my relatives.' ⁽³¹⁾ So Moses said, 'Please do not leave, inasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes. ⁽³²⁾ And it shall be, if you go with us -- indeed it shall be -- that whatever good the LORD will do to us, the same we will do to you.'

⁽³³⁾ So they departed from the mountain of the LORD on a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them for the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them. ⁽³⁴⁾ And the cloud of the LORD was above them by day when they went out from the camp. ⁽³⁵⁾ So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: 'Rise up, O LORD! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.' ⁽³⁶⁾ And when it rested, he said: 'Return, O LORD, To the many thousands of Israel.'

Romans Chapter 1

⁽¹⁾ Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God ⁽²⁾ which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, ⁽³⁾ concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, ⁽⁴⁾ and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

⁽⁵⁾ Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, ⁽⁶⁾ among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ; ⁽⁷⁾ To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁽⁸⁾ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

⁽⁹⁾ For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, ⁽¹⁰⁾ making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you. ⁽¹¹⁾ For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established -- ⁽¹²⁾ that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

⁽¹³⁾ Now I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles. ⁽¹⁴⁾ I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise. ⁽¹⁵⁾ So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.

Matthew Chapter 17

⁽¹⁴⁾ And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, ⁽¹⁵⁾ Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. ⁽¹⁶⁾ So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.' ⁽¹⁷⁾ Then Jesus answered and said, 'O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.'

⁽¹⁸⁾ And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. ⁽¹⁹⁾ Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, 'Why could we not cast it out?' ⁽²⁰⁾ So Jesus said to them, 'Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ⁽²¹⁾ However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.'

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
