Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us;

The death that he died, he died to sin, once for all;

Psalm 149

Exodus Chapter 18

⁽¹⁾ And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people -- that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt. ⁽²⁾ Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back, ⁽³⁾ with her two sons, of whom the name of one was Gershom (for he said, 'I have been a stranger in a foreign land') ⁽⁴⁾ and the name of the other was Eliezer (for he said, 'The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh');

⁽⁵⁾ and Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses in the wilderness, where he was encamped at the mountain of God. ⁽⁶⁾ Now he had said to Moses, 'I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her.' ⁽⁷⁾ So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law, bowed down, and kissed him. And they asked each other about their well-being, and they went into the tent. ⁽⁸⁾ And Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the LORD had delivered them.

⁽⁹⁾ Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the LORD had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians. ⁽¹⁰⁾ And Jethro said, 'Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians. ⁽¹¹⁾ Now I know that the LORD is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.' ⁽¹²⁾ Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and other sacrifices to offer to God. 1 John Chapter 2

Mark Chapter 16

⁽⁹⁾ Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. ⁽¹⁰⁾ She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. ⁽¹¹⁾ And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe. ⁽¹²⁾ After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.

⁽¹³⁾ And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either. ⁽¹⁴⁾ Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. ⁽¹⁵⁾ And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. ⁽¹⁶⁾ He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

⁽¹⁷⁾ And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ⁽¹⁸⁾ they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.' ⁽¹⁹⁾ So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. ⁽²⁰⁾ And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.
This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship him without fear,
holy and righteous in his sight
all the days of our life.
You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,

Seasonal Collect:  Third Sunday of Easter
O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Collect of the Day: O God, you make us glad with the weekly remembrance of the glorious resurrection of your Son our Lord: Give us this day such blessing through our worship of you, that the week to come may be spent in your favor; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
