Ordinary Time
Thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, 'I dwell in the high and holy place and also with the one who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite.' Isaiah 57:15

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 106

⁽¹⁾ Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. ⁽²⁾ Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Jeremiah Chapter 3

⁽¹⁾ They say, 'If a man divorces his wife, And she goes from him And becomes another man's, May he return to her again?' Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; Yet return to Me,' says the LORD. ⁽²⁾ Lift up your eyes to the desolate heights and see: Where have you not lain with men? I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. ⁽¹⁵⁾ And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. ⁽¹⁶⁾ Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,' says the LORD, 'that they will say no more, 'The ark of the covenant of the LORD.' 1 Peter Chapter 1

Matthew Chapter 19

⁽¹⁾ Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. ⁽²⁾ And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there. ⁽³⁾ The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, 'Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?' ⁽⁴⁾ And He answered and said to them, 'Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,'

⁽⁵⁾ and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? ⁽⁶⁾ So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.' ⁽⁷⁾ They said to Him, 'Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?' ⁽⁸⁾ He said to them, 'Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.

⁽⁹⁾ And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.' ⁽¹⁰⁾ His disciples said to Him, 'If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.' ⁽¹¹⁾ But He said to them, 'All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: ⁽¹²⁾ For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.'

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
