Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 138

⁽¹⁾ I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. ⁽²⁾ I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. ⁽³⁾ In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul. ⁽⁴⁾ All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth.

Psalm 139

Isaiah Chapter 65

⁽¹⁾ I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. Revelation Chapter 3

⁽¹⁾ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ' These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: 'I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. ⁽²⁾ Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. ⁽³⁾ Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. ⁽⁴⁾ You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.

⁽⁵⁾ He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. ⁽⁶⁾ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.' '

John Chapter 6

⁽¹⁾ After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. ⁽²⁾ Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. ⁽³⁾ And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. ⁽⁴⁾ Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.

⁽⁵⁾ Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, 'Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?' ⁽⁶⁾ But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. ⁽⁷⁾ Philip answered Him, 'Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.' ⁽⁸⁾ One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him,

⁽⁹⁾ There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?' ⁽¹⁰⁾ Then Jesus said, 'Make the people sit down.' Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. ⁽¹¹⁾ And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. ⁽¹²⁾ So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, 'Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.'

⁽¹³⁾ Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. ⁽¹⁴⁾ Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, 'This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.'

Splendor and honor and kingly power
are yours by right, O Lord our God,
For you created everything that is,
and by your will they were created
  and have their being;
And yours by right, O Lamb that was slain,
for with your blood you have redeemed for God,
From every family, language, people, and nation,
a kingdom of priests to serve our God.
And so, to him who sits upon the throne,

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,

Seasonal Collect:  The Epiphany
O God, by the leading of a star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Collect of the Day: Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer for Mission: O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh; and hasten the coming of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
