Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 93

Psalm 96

Numbers Chapter 6

Acts Chapter 13

⁽¹⁾ Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. ⁽²⁾ As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, 'Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.' ⁽³⁾ Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. ⁽⁴⁾ So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

⁽⁵⁾ And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant. ⁽⁶⁾ Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus, ⁽⁷⁾ who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. ⁽⁸⁾ But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

⁽⁹⁾ Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him ⁽¹⁰⁾ and said, 'O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? ⁽¹¹⁾ And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.' And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. ⁽¹²⁾ Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

Luke Chapter 12

⁽²³⁾ Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. ⁽²⁴⁾ Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? ⁽²⁵⁾ And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? ⁽²⁶⁾ If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?

⁽²⁷⁾ Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ⁽²⁸⁾ If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? ⁽²⁹⁾ And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. ⁽³⁰⁾ For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.

⁽³¹⁾ But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. ⁽³²⁾ Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. ⁽³³⁾ Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. ⁽³⁴⁾ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

⁽³⁵⁾ Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; ⁽³⁶⁾ and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. ⁽³⁷⁾ Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. ⁽³⁸⁾ And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

⁽³⁹⁾ But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. ⁽⁴⁰⁾ Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.' ⁽⁴¹⁾ Then Peter said to Him, 'Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?' ⁽⁴²⁾ And the Lord said, 'Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?

⁽⁴³⁾ Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. ⁽⁴⁴⁾ Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. ⁽⁴⁵⁾ But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, ⁽⁴⁶⁾ the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

⁽⁴⁷⁾ And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. ⁽⁴⁸⁾ But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.
This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
