Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Phillipians 1:2

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 61

⁽¹⁾ HEAR my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. ⁽²⁾ From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. ⁽³⁾ For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. ⁽⁴⁾ I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Psalm 62

Ecclesiastes Chapter 8

⁽¹⁴⁾ There is a vanity which occurs on earth, that there are just men to whom it happens according to the work of the wicked; again, there are wicked men to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous. I said that this also is vanity. ⁽¹⁵⁾ So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun. ⁽¹⁶⁾ When I applied my heart to know wisdom and to see the business that is done on earth, even though one sees no sleep day or night, ⁽¹⁷⁾ then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.

⁽¹⁾ For I considered all this in my heart, so that I could declare it all: that the righteous and the wise and their works are in the hand of God. People know neither love nor hatred by anything they see before them. ⁽²⁾ All things come alike to all: One event happens to the righteous and the wicked; To the good, the clean, and the unclean; To him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As is the good, so is the sinner; He who takes an oath as he who fears an oath. ⁽³⁾ This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: that one thing happens to all. Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead. ⁽⁴⁾ But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

⁽⁵⁾ For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten. ⁽⁶⁾ Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun. ⁽⁷⁾ Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works. ⁽⁸⁾ Let your garments always be white, And let your head lack no oil.

Galatians Chapter 4

⁽²¹⁾ Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? ⁽²²⁾ For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. ⁽²³⁾ But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, ⁽²⁴⁾ which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar --

⁽²⁵⁾ for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children -- ⁽²⁶⁾ but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. ⁽²⁷⁾ For it is written: 'Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children Than she who has a husband.' ⁽²⁸⁾ Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.

⁽²⁹⁾ But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. ⁽³⁰⁾ Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? 'Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.' ⁽³¹⁾ So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.

Matthew Chapter 15

⁽²⁹⁾ Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. ⁽³⁰⁾ Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. ⁽³¹⁾ So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. ⁽³²⁾ Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, 'I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.'

⁽³³⁾ Then His disciples said to Him, 'Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?' ⁽³⁴⁾ Jesus said to them, 'How many loaves do you have?' And they said, 'Seven, and a few little fish.' ⁽³⁵⁾ So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. ⁽³⁶⁾ And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.

⁽³⁷⁾ So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. ⁽³⁸⁾ Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children. ⁽³⁹⁾ And He sent away the multitude, got into the boat, and came to the region of Magdala.

A Song to the Lamb       Revelation 4:11, 5:9 to 10, 13

Splendor and honor and kingly power
are yours by right, O Lord our God,
For you created everything that is,
and by your will they were created
  and have their being;
And yours by right, O Lamb that was slain,
for with your blood you have redeemed for God,
From every family, language, people, and nation,
a kingdom of priests to serve our God.
And so, to him who sits upon the throne,
and to Christ the Lamb,
Be worship and praise, dominion and splendor,

The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.

Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.

This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,

holy and righteous in his sight
all the days of our life.

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
