Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Phillipians 1:2

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 18

⁽¹⁾ I will love You, O LORD, my strength. ⁽²⁾ The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. ⁽³⁾ I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. ⁽⁴⁾ The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

⁽⁵⁾ The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. ⁽⁶⁾ In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. ⁽⁷⁾ Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. ⁽⁸⁾ Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it.

Proverbs Chapter 7

As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would cost his life. ⁽²⁴⁾ Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth:

⁽²⁵⁾ Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths; ⁽²⁶⁾ For she has cast down many wounded, And all who were slain by her were strong men. ⁽²⁷⁾ Her house is the way to hell, Descending to the chambers of death.

1 John Chapter 5

⁽¹³⁾ These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. ⁽¹⁴⁾ Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ⁽¹⁵⁾ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. ⁽¹⁶⁾ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.

⁽¹⁷⁾ All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. ⁽¹⁸⁾ We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. ⁽¹⁹⁾ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. ⁽²⁰⁾ And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

⁽²¹⁾ Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Matthew Chapter 11

⁽²⁵⁾ At that time Jesus answered and said, 'I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. ⁽²⁶⁾ Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. ⁽²⁷⁾ All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. ⁽²⁸⁾ Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

⁽²⁹⁾ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ⁽³⁰⁾ For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.'

I will sing to the Lord, for he is lofty and uplifted;

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
  the holy catholic Church,
  the communion of saints,

Almighty and merciful God, in your goodness keep us, we pray, from all things that may hurt us, that we, being ready both in mind and body, may accomplish with free hearts those things which belong to your purpose; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
