Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Phillipians 1:2

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

⁽¹⁾ Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. ⁽²⁾ Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. ⁽³⁾ My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. ⁽⁴⁾ For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.

Psalm 6

Proverbs Chapter 4

⁽¹⁾ Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding; ⁽²⁾ For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law. ⁽³⁾ When I was my father's son, Tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, ⁽⁴⁾ He also taught me, and said to me: 'Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live.

⁽⁵⁾ Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. ⁽⁶⁾ Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. ⁽⁷⁾ Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. 1 John Chapter 4

⁽⁷⁾ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. ⁽⁸⁾ He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. ⁽⁹⁾ In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. ⁽¹⁰⁾ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

⁽¹¹⁾ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. ⁽¹²⁾ No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. ⁽¹³⁾ By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. ⁽¹⁴⁾ And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

⁽¹⁵⁾ Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. ⁽¹⁶⁾ And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. ⁽¹⁷⁾ Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. ⁽¹⁸⁾ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

⁽¹⁹⁾ We love Him because He first loved us. ⁽²⁰⁾ If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? ⁽²¹⁾ And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Matthew Chapter 11

⁽⁷⁾ As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: 'What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? ⁽⁸⁾ But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings' houses. ⁽⁹⁾ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. ⁽¹⁰⁾ For this is he of whom it is written: 'Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.'

⁽¹¹⁾ Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. ⁽¹²⁾ And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. ⁽¹³⁾ For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. ⁽¹⁴⁾ And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.

A Song to the Lamb       Revelation 4:11, 5:9 to 10, 13

Splendor and honor and kingly power
are yours by right, O Lord our God,
For you created everything that is,
and by your will they were created
  and have their being;

for with your blood you have redeemed for God,
From every family, language, people, and nation,
a kingdom of priests to serve our God.

The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.

Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.

This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,

holy and righteous in his sight

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
