Easter
You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 107

⁽³³⁾ He turns rivers into a wilderness, And the watersprings into dry ground; ⁽³⁴⁾ A fruitful land into barrenness, For the wickedness of those who dwell in it. ⁽³⁵⁾ He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into watersprings. ⁽³⁶⁾ There He makes the hungry dwell, That they may establish a city for a dwelling place,

Psalm 108

Ezekiel Chapter 36

Ephesians Chapter 6

⁽¹⁰⁾ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ⁽¹¹⁾ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ⁽¹²⁾ For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ⁽¹³⁾ Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Matthew Chapter 9

⁽¹⁸⁾ While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, 'My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.' ⁽¹⁹⁾ So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples. ⁽²⁰⁾ And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. ⁽²¹⁾ For she said to herself, 'If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.'

⁽²²⁾ But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, 'Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.' And the woman was made well from that hour. ⁽²³⁾ When Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, ⁽²⁴⁾ He said to them, 'Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.' And they ridiculed Him. ⁽²⁵⁾ But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
