Easter
You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 89

Joshua Chapter 1

Ephesians Chapter 3

⁽¹⁾ For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles -- ⁽²⁾ if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, ⁽³⁾ how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, ⁽⁴⁾ by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),

⁽⁵⁾ which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: ⁽⁶⁾ that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, ⁽⁷⁾ of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. ⁽⁸⁾ To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

⁽⁹⁾ and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; ⁽¹⁰⁾ to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, ⁽¹¹⁾ according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, ⁽¹²⁾ in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Matthew Chapter 8

⁽⁵⁾ Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, ⁽⁶⁾ saying, 'Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.' ⁽⁷⁾ And Jesus said to him, 'I will come and heal him.' ⁽⁸⁾ The centurion answered and said, 'Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.

⁽⁹⁾ For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it.' ⁽¹⁰⁾ When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! ⁽¹¹⁾ And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. ⁽¹²⁾ But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

⁽¹³⁾ Then Jesus said to the centurion, 'Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.' And his servant was healed that same hour. ⁽¹⁴⁾ Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. ⁽¹⁵⁾ So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. ⁽¹⁶⁾ When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

⁽¹⁷⁾ that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.'

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.

O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
