Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 8

⁽¹⁾ O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! ⁽²⁾ Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. ⁽³⁾ When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, ⁽⁴⁾ What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

Psalm 47

Daniel Chapter 7

⁽⁹⁾ I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; ⁽¹⁰⁾ A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened. ⁽¹¹⁾ I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. ⁽¹²⁾ As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

Hebrews Chapter 2

⁽⁵⁾ For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. ⁽⁶⁾ But one testified in a certain place, saying: 'What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him? ⁽⁷⁾ You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands. ⁽⁸⁾ You have put all things in subjection under his feet.' For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.

⁽⁹⁾ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. ⁽¹⁰⁾ For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. ⁽¹¹⁾ For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, ⁽¹²⁾ saying: 'I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.'

And again: 'Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.' ⁽¹⁴⁾ Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, ⁽¹⁵⁾ and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. ⁽¹⁶⁾ For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.

⁽¹⁷⁾ Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. ⁽¹⁸⁾ For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Matthew Chapter 28

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
  the holy catholic Church,
  the communion of saints,
