Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Phillipians 1:2

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 61

⁽¹⁾ HEAR my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. ⁽²⁾ From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. ⁽³⁾ For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. ⁽⁴⁾ I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Deuteronomy Chapter 30

⁽¹¹⁾ For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. ⁽¹²⁾ It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' ⁽¹³⁾ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' ⁽¹⁴⁾ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

⁽¹⁵⁾ See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, ⁽¹⁶⁾ in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. ⁽¹⁷⁾ But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, ⁽¹⁸⁾ I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.

2 Corinthians Chapter 11

⁽¹⁾ Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly -- and indeed you do bear with me. ⁽²⁾ For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. ⁽³⁾ But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. ⁽⁴⁾ For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted -- you may well put up with it!

⁽⁵⁾ For I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles. ⁽⁶⁾ Even though I am untrained in speech, yet I am not in knowledge. But we have been thoroughly manifested among you in all things. ⁽⁷⁾ Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge? ⁽⁸⁾ I robbed other churches, taking wages from them to minister to you.

⁽⁹⁾ And when I was present with you, and in need, I was a burden to no one, for what I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied. And in everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will keep myself. ⁽¹⁰⁾ As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia. ⁽¹¹⁾ Why? Because I do not love you? God knows! ⁽¹²⁾ But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast.

⁽¹³⁾ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. ⁽¹⁴⁾ And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. ⁽¹⁵⁾ Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. ⁽¹⁶⁾ I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little.

⁽¹⁷⁾ What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. ⁽¹⁸⁾ Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. ⁽¹⁹⁾ For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! ⁽²⁰⁾ For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face.

⁽²¹⁾ To our shame, I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold -- I speak foolishly -- I am bold also.

Luke Chapter 19

⁽⁵⁾ And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, 'Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.' ⁽⁶⁾ So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. ⁽⁷⁾ But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, 'He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.' ⁽⁸⁾ Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, 'Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.'

⁽⁹⁾ And Jesus said to him, 'Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; ⁽¹⁰⁾ for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.'

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
