Epiphany
From the rising of the sun to its setting my Name shall be great among the nations, and in every place incense shall be offered to my Name, and a pure offering: for my Name shall be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 1:11

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 149

Deuteronomy Chapter 6

⁽¹⁾ Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, ⁽²⁾ that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. ⁽³⁾ Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you -- 'a land flowing with milk and honey.' ⁽⁴⁾ Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!

Hebrews Chapter 12

⁽¹⁸⁾ For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, ⁽¹⁹⁾ and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. ⁽²⁰⁾ (For they could not endure what was commanded: 'And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.' ⁽²¹⁾ And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, 'I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.')

⁽²²⁾ But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, ⁽²³⁾ to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, ⁽²⁴⁾ to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. ⁽²⁵⁾ See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,

⁽²⁶⁾ whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, 'Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.' ⁽²⁷⁾ Now this, 'Yet once more,' indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. ⁽²⁸⁾ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. ⁽²⁹⁾ For our God is a consuming fire.

John Chapter 12

⁽³²⁾ And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.' ⁽³³⁾ This He said, signifying by what death He would die. ⁽³⁴⁾ The people answered Him, 'We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this Son of Man?'

The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.
This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship him without fear,
holy and righteous in his sight
all the days of our life.
You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,
To give his people knowledge of salvation
by the forgiveness of their sins.
In the tender compassion of our God

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
