Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Venite

ⓘ 'Venite' is Latin for 'O Come,' the opening word of Psalm 95: Venite exultemus Domino ('O Come, let us sing to the LORD').

Psalm 95:1 to 7
Come, let us sing to the Lord;
   let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving
   and raise a loud shout to him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God,
   and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the caverns of the earth,
   and the heights of the hills are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
   and his hands have molded the dry land.

Come, let us bow down, and bend the knee,
   and kneel before the Lord our Maker.
For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.

Psalm 103

⁽¹⁾ Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!⁽²⁾ Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:⁽³⁾ Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,⁽⁴⁾ Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

⁽⁵⁾ Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.⁽⁶⁾ The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.⁽⁷⁾ He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.⁽⁸⁾ The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

Isaiah Chapter 52

Revelation Chapter 2

⁽¹⁾ To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ' These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:⁽²⁾ I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;⁽³⁾ and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary.⁽⁴⁾ Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

⁽⁵⁾ Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place -- unless you repent.⁽⁶⁾ But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.⁽⁷⁾ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.' '

John Chapter 2

⁽¹⁾ On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.⁽²⁾ Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.⁽³⁾ And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, 'They have no wine.'⁽⁴⁾ Jesus said to her, 'Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.'

⁽⁵⁾ His mother said to the servants, 'Whatever He says to you, do it.'⁽⁶⁾ Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.⁽⁷⁾ Jesus said to them, 'Fill the waterpots with water.' And they filled them up to the brim.⁽⁸⁾ And He said to them, 'Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.' And they took it.

⁽⁹⁾ When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.⁽¹⁰⁾ And he said to him, 'Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!'⁽¹¹⁾ This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

The First Song of Isaiah Isaiah 12:2 to 6

Surely, it is God who saves me;
I will trust in him and not be afraid.
For the Lord is my stronghold
and my sure defense,
and he will be my Savior.
Therefore you shall draw water with rejoicing
from the springs of salvation.
And on that day you shall say,
Give thanks to the Lord and call upon his Name;
Make his deeds known among the peoples;
see that they remember that his Name is exalted.
Sing the praises of the Lord,
for he has done great things,

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,

Seasonal Collect: The Epiphany
O God, by the leading of a star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Collect of the Day: Heavenly Father, in you we live and move and have our being: We humbly pray you so to guide and govern us by your Holy Spirit, that in all the cares and occupations of our life we may not forget you, but may remember that we are ever walking in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Thanksgiving
Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we your unworthy servants give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all whom you have made. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory, and, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies, that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up ourselves to your service, and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages.
