The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. John 4:23

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Venite

Psalm 95:1 to 7
Come, let us sing to the Lord;
   let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving
   and raise a loud shout to him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God,
   and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the caverns of the earth,
   and the heights of the hills are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
   and his hands have molded the dry land.

Come, let us bow down, and bend the knee,
   and kneel before the Lord our Maker.

Psalm 66

⁽¹⁾ Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!⁽²⁾ Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.⁽³⁾ Say to God, 'How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.⁽⁴⁾ All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.' Selah

⁽⁵⁾ Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.⁽⁶⁾ He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. Psalm 67

Habakkuk Chapter 1

⁽¹⁾ The burden which the prophet Habakkuk saw.⁽²⁾ O LORD, how long shall I cry, And You will not hear? Even cry out to You, 'Violence!' And You will not save.⁽³⁾ Why do You show me iniquity, And cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; There is strife, and contention arises.⁽⁴⁾ Therefore the law is powerless, And justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore perverse judgment proceeds.

⁽⁵⁾ Look among the nations and watch -- Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you.⁽⁶⁾ For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans, A bitter and hasty nation Which marches through the breadth of the earth, To possess dwelling places that are not theirs.⁽⁷⁾ They are terrible and dreadful; Their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves.⁽⁸⁾ Their horses also are swifter than leopards, And more fierce than evening wolves. Philippians Chapter 3

⁽¹³⁾ Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,⁽¹⁴⁾ I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.⁽¹⁵⁾ Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.⁽¹⁶⁾ Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

Matthew Chapter 23

⁽¹³⁾ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.⁽¹⁴⁾ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.⁽¹⁵⁾ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.⁽¹⁶⁾ Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.'

For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?⁽¹⁸⁾ And, 'Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.'⁽¹⁹⁾ Fools and blind! The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.
This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship him without fear,
holy and righteous in his sight
all the days of our life.
You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,

You are God

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
