Ordinary Time
The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. John 4:23

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 24

⁽¹⁾ The earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. ⁽²⁾ For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. ⁽³⁾ Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Psalm 29

Ecclesiasticus Chapter 36

⁽¹⁾ O Lord God of the universe, look upon us and have mercy. ⁽²⁾ Make every nation stand in fear of you. ⁽³⁾ Take action against the foreign nations, and let them witness your power! ⁽⁴⁾ You have used us to show them how holy you are; now use them to show us how great you are.

⁽⁵⁾ Let them learn, as we have learned, that there is no God, O Lord, but you. ⁽⁶⁾ Give new signs, perform new miracles; show us your glorious strength! ⁽⁹⁾ Bring on that appointed time when everyone can talk about the great things you do. Pour out your furious, flaming anger, and let none of our enemies survive. 1 Corinthians Chapter 12

⁽²⁷⁾ Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. ⁽²⁸⁾ And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. ⁽²⁹⁾ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? ⁽³⁰⁾ Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

⁽¹⁾ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. ⁽²⁾ And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. ⁽³⁾ And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. ⁽⁴⁾ Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

Matthew Chapter 18

⁽²¹⁾ Then Peter came to Him and said, 'Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?' ⁽²²⁾ Jesus said to him, 'I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. ⁽²³⁾ Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. ⁽²⁴⁾ And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

⁽²⁵⁾ But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. ⁽²⁶⁾ The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, 'Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.' ⁽²⁷⁾ Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. ⁽²⁸⁾ But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'

⁽²⁹⁾ So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.' ⁽³⁰⁾ And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. ⁽³¹⁾ So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. ⁽³²⁾ Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

⁽³³⁾ Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?' ⁽³⁴⁾ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. ⁽³⁵⁾ So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.'

The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.
This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship him without fear,
holy and righteous in his sight
all the days of our life.
You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,
To give his people knowledge of salvation

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
