Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 30

Psalm 32

Ecclesiasticus Chapter 15

⁽⁹⁾ It is not appropriate for a sinner to sing hymns of praise, because his worship is insincere. ⁽¹⁰⁾ A hymn should be an expression of wisdom, inspired by the Lord himself. ⁽¹¹⁾ Don't blame the Lord for your sin; the Lord does not cause what he hates. ⁽¹²⁾ Don't claim that he has misled you; he doesn't need the help of sinners to accomplish his purposes.

⁽¹³⁾ The Lord hates evil in all its forms, and those who fear the Lord find nothing attractive in evil. ⁽¹⁴⁾ When, in the beginning, the Lord created human beings, he left them free to do as they wished. ⁽¹⁵⁾ If you want to, you can keep the Lord's commands. You can decide whether you will be loyal to him or not. ⁽¹⁶⁾ He has placed fire and water before you; reach out and take whichever you want.

⁽¹⁷⁾ You have a choice between life and death; you will get whichever you choose. ⁽¹⁸⁾ The Lord's wisdom and power are great and he sees everything. ⁽¹⁹⁾ He is aware of everything a person does, and he takes care of those who fear him. ⁽²⁰⁾ He has never commanded anyone to be wicked or given anyone permission to sin.

Revelation Chapter 10

⁽¹⁾ I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. ⁽²⁾ He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, ⁽³⁾ and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. ⁽⁴⁾ Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, 'Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.'

But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. ⁽¹¹⁾ And he said to me, 'You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.'

Luke Chapter 11

⁽¹⁾ Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, 'Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.' ⁽²⁾ So He said to them, 'When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. ⁽³⁾ Give us day by day our daily bread. ⁽⁴⁾ And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.'

⁽⁵⁾ And He said to them, 'Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves; ⁽⁶⁾ for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him'; ⁽⁷⁾ and he will answer from within and say, 'Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you'? ⁽⁸⁾ I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.

⁽⁹⁾ So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. ⁽¹⁰⁾ For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. ⁽¹¹⁾ If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? ⁽¹²⁾ Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

⁽¹³⁾ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!'

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
