Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 37

⁽¹⁾ Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. ⁽²⁾ For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. ⁽³⁾ Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. ⁽⁴⁾ Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Ezra Chapter 1

⁽¹⁾ Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying, ⁽²⁾ Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the LORD God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. ⁽³⁾ Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel (He is God), which is in Jerusalem. ⁽⁴⁾ And whoever is left in any place where he dwells, let the men of his place help him with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, besides the freewill offerings for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.

⁽⁵⁾ Then the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem. ⁽⁶⁾ And all those who were around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered. ⁽⁷⁾ King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his gods; ⁽⁸⁾ and Cyrus king of Persia brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.

⁽⁹⁾ This is the number of them: thirty gold platters, one thousand silver platters, twenty-nine knives, ⁽¹⁰⁾ thirty gold basins, four hundred and ten silver basins of a similar kind, and one thousand other articles. ⁽¹¹⁾ All the articles of gold and silver were five thousand four hundred. All these Sheshbazzar took with the captives who were brought from Babylon to Jerusalem.

1 Corinthians Chapter 16

⁽¹⁾ Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: ⁽²⁾ On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come. ⁽³⁾ And when I come, whomever you approve by your letters I will send to bear your gift to Jerusalem. ⁽⁴⁾ But if it is fitting that I go also, they will go with me.

⁽⁵⁾ Now I will come to you when I pass through Macedonia (for I am passing through Macedonia). ⁽⁶⁾ And it may be that I will remain, or even spend the winter with you, that you may send me on my journey, wherever I go. ⁽⁷⁾ For I do not wish to see you now on the way; but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits. ⁽⁸⁾ But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost.

⁽⁹⁾ For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

Matthew Chapter 12

⁽¹⁵⁾ But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
