Epiphany
From the rising of the sun to its setting my Name shall be great among the nations, and in every place incense shall be offered to my Name, and a pure offering: for my Name shall be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 1:11

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 25

⁽¹⁾ To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. ⁽²⁾ O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. ⁽³⁾ Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. ⁽⁴⁾ Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.

Deuteronomy Chapter 6

⁽¹⁰⁾ So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, ⁽¹¹⁾ houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant -- when you have eaten and are full -- ⁽¹²⁾ then beware, lest you forget the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. ⁽¹³⁾ You shall fear the LORD your God and serve Him, and shall take oaths in His name.

⁽¹⁴⁾ You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you ⁽¹⁵⁾ (for the LORD your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the LORD your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.

Hebrews Chapter 1

⁽¹⁾ God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, ⁽²⁾ has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; ⁽³⁾ who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, ⁽⁴⁾ having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

⁽⁵⁾ For to which of the angels did He ever say: 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You'? And again: 'I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son'? ⁽⁶⁾ But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: 'Let all the angels of God worship Him.' ⁽⁷⁾ And of the angels He says: 'Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.' ⁽⁸⁾ But to the Son He says: 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.

⁽¹³⁾ But to which of the angels has He ever said: 'Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool'? ⁽¹⁴⁾ Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

John Chapter 1

⁽¹⁾ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ⁽²⁾ He was in the beginning with God. ⁽³⁾ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ⁽⁴⁾ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

⁽¹³⁾ who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ⁽¹⁴⁾ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. ⁽¹⁵⁾ John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, 'This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.' ' ⁽¹⁶⁾ And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

⁽¹⁷⁾ For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. ⁽¹⁸⁾ No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
  the holy catholic Church,
  the communion of saints,

O God, who before the passion of your only begotten Son revealed his glory upon the holy mountain: Grant to us that we, beholding by faith the light of his countenance, may be strengthened to bear our cross, and be changed into his likeness from glory to glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Collect of the Day: O God, the King eternal, whose light divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness while it was day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
