Ordinary Time
The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. John 4:23

Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 107

⁽³³⁾ He turns rivers into a wilderness, And the watersprings into dry ground; ⁽³⁴⁾ A fruitful land into barrenness, For the wickedness of those who dwell in it. ⁽³⁵⁾ He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into watersprings. ⁽³⁶⁾ There He makes the hungry dwell, That they may establish a city for a dwelling place,

⁽³⁷⁾ And sow fields and plant vineyards, That they may yield a fruitful harvest. ⁽³⁸⁾ He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly; And He does not let their cattle decrease. ⁽³⁹⁾ When they are diminished and brought low Through oppression, affliction and sorrow, ⁽⁴⁰⁾ He pours contempt on princes, And causes them to wander in the wilderness where there is no way;

Psalm 108

⁽¹⁾ O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. ⁽²⁾ Awake, lute and harp! Malachi Chapter 3

James Chapter 5

⁽¹³⁾ Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. ⁽¹⁴⁾ Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. ⁽¹⁵⁾ And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. ⁽¹⁶⁾ Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

⁽¹⁷⁾ Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. ⁽¹⁸⁾ And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. ⁽¹⁹⁾ Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, ⁽²⁰⁾ let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Luke Chapter 18

⁽¹³⁾ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' ⁽¹⁴⁾ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.'

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
