Confession of Sin
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 97

⁽¹⁾ The LORD reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad! ⁽²⁾ Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. ⁽³⁾ A fire goes before Him, And burns up His enemies round about. ⁽⁴⁾ His lightnings light the world; The earth sees and trembles.

Hosea Chapter 4

Acts Chapter 21

⁽¹⁾ Now it came to pass, that when we had departed from them and set sail, running a straight course we came to Cos, the following day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. ⁽²⁾ And finding a ship sailing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail. ⁽³⁾ When we had sighted Cyprus, we passed it on the left, sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload her cargo. ⁽⁴⁾ And finding disciples, we stayed there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

Luke Chapter 5

⁽¹²⁾ And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.' ⁽¹³⁾ Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed.' Immediately the leprosy left him. ⁽¹⁴⁾ And He charged him to tell no one, 'But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.' ⁽¹⁵⁾ However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.

⁽¹⁶⁾ So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed. ⁽¹⁷⁾ Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. ⁽¹⁸⁾ Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. ⁽¹⁹⁾ And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.

⁽²⁰⁾ When He saw their faith, He said to him, 'Man, your sins are forgiven you.' ⁽²¹⁾ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, 'Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?' ⁽²²⁾ But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, 'Why are you reasoning in your hearts? ⁽²³⁾ Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise up and walk'?

⁽²⁴⁾ But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins' -- He said to the man who was paralyzed, 'I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.' ⁽²⁵⁾ Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. ⁽²⁶⁾ And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, 'We have seen strange things today!'

A Song to the Lamb       Revelation 4:11, 5:9 to 10, 13

Splendor and honor and kingly power
are yours by right, O Lord our God,
For you created everything that is,
and by your will they were created
  and have their being;

From every family, language, people, and nation,
a kingdom of priests to serve our God.

The Song of Zechariah Luke 1: 68 to 79

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.

Through his holy prophets he promised of old,
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.

This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham,

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
